As a Sales Representative at Cask you’ll have an exciting opportunity to learn some of the most advanced software products that will enable your selling capabilities and challenge yourself constantly. Compensation: On-target earnings of $125,000+ with a mix of base salary and uncapped commissions. This is a Full-Time role based in Calgary, AB.
*Relocation assistance will be considered for out-of-province candidates that are a great fit for Cask.

What will you be doing?

You will be leading activity in your sales territory by developing opportunities with prospective accounts, closing business, working with custom project layouts, and nurturing relationships with customers.

50% - Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects

  • Build rapport with contacts over a long-term, multi-touch relationship through multiple methods (email, phone, tradeshows, Cask social accounts, etc.) by offering insights and resources that support them during their buying process
  • Maintain accurate records of your entire sales pipeline throughout each process step in Salesforce.
  • Provide professional after-sales contact to enhance the customers’ loyalty to Cask.

30% - Generating sales actionable leads and opportunities

  • Generate demand in specific geographic areas and/or beverage sectors (craft beer, cold brew coffee, kombucha, etc.) through social selling and outbound cold calling methodologies, utilizing Cask’s extensive Salesforce CRM database of prospects, industry associations and popular industry-relevant forums.
  • Consult with breweries and beverage producers on how to grow their reach in their markets using state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Hold video conference and telephone meetings with prospective customers to understand their business challenges and goals.

10% - First Response to all inbound inquiries

  • Respond to incoming web and phone inquiries within our best-in-class first response time target of <5 minutes.
  • Generate sales leads by following up with incoming leads, provide timely nurturing and accurate information to meet customer needs.

Skills and qualifications:

  • As a Sales Representative, you must have a commanding desire to learn and succeed in sales.
  • Persuasive personality and a sense of humor are imperative. Thrives on engaging in conversation with total strangers.
  • 2 to 5 years experience in one of the following areas: craft brewing or any craft beverage production/marketing/sales, inside sales, outside sales, social media marketing / social selling, customer service, retail sales, hospitality industrial experience or other related entrepreneurial experience.
  • Strong aptitude for Google/Web and Social Media research abilities
  • Multi-lingual candidates are considered an asset (Spanish, French, German, Italian or Russian).
